The football star tasted Jean Imbert’s noble dishes at Monsieur Dior.
In difficult times, you need to know how to be good. Two days after the frustrating defeat in the World Cup final against Argentina, Kylian Mbappé celebrated his birthday on Tuesday 20 December. To celebrate his 24th birthday, the French striker enjoyed himself at Monsieur Dior, the luxury brand’s restaurant located on the very chic Avenue Montaigne.

The designer of the menu is none other than the star chef Jean Imbert, who has apparently left the kitchens of the Plaza Athénée for an evening to please the player. On the menu there is a “New look” croque with truffles, a “Christian Dior” soft-boiled egg placed on a bed of caviar and cream, a Granville cake hidden in an avocado and accompanied by grapefruit or chili ravioli sweet.
The arrival of Kylian Mbappé at a Dior establishment is anything but a coincidence. The PSG striker is actually one of the brand’s muses, with whom he signed a lucrative contract last year. In particular, he lends his image to Kim Jones, artistic director of the creations of the men’s collections, as well as to the perfume Sauvage.
