You can also customize these options if you are setting up your first appointment schedule or an additional schedule.

General availability

When you set up an appointment calendar, you select the days and times when you are open for appointments. These then show up on your booking page, where others can click through to select a time.

Depending on your activity or service, you can add another time slot for a day or two. For example, you may be available from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and then from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on the same day. On the other hand, you may be completely unavailable on certain days, such as weekends.

Go to the General Availability section in the Calendar sidebar for appointments to book. To add a time slot for a day, click the plus sign and enter the time slot. You can add multiple time slots for the same day.

To delete a period, click on the crossed-out circle. You can do this to remove a specific period of a day or to make the day unavailable for appointments.

The Schedule Window section allows you to limit the time range for appointment bookings. You can choose “Available now” or enter start and end dates for all appointments. This last option is useful if you only want to allow reservations for a certain period.

Allow appointments during certain dates

Next, you can adjust the minimum time someone can book an appointment before and the minimum time before an appointment start time someone can book. Check the box for one or both functions, then enter the delay from the drop-down list or use the arrows to increase or decrease in small increments.
