Citroën gently pokes fun at the boss of Tesla with the Ami Buggy

Even the richest man in the world won’t be able to afford Citroën’s cute little electric buggy. There, it is said.

A few days ago, Citroën lifted the veil on the My Ami Buggy, a colorful little electric car designed on the basis of the normal Ami. Decorated and equipped like a real little summer buggy, the machine will be built in a limited series of 50 units. And the freshly styled heavy quadricycle has been very successful: the 50 copies were ordered in less than 18 minutes after the opening of reservations on June 21st.

The communicators of the brand with the chevrons, who are generally not lacking in imagination, took the opportunity to set up a small advertising campaign on the subject in the form of a spade to the boss of Tesla: even Elon Musk, the most rich in the world, will therefore not be able to afford one of the copies of the small electric car without a license.

45 km/h maximum

Remember that like the normal Ami, the My Ami Buggy remains limited to 45 km/h. It was billed at €9,790, nearly €2,000 more expensive than the base model.
