Apple’s AR glasses would arrive at the end of 2024 with the 2nd AR/VR headset

Apple products will be released in 2024 and one of them would be augmented reality glasses. The pair would land in the second half alongside Apple’s second unisex headset, according to analyst Jeff Pu.

We already know that Apple is working on augmented reality glasses and a mixed helmet (augmented reality and virtual reality). The helmet will arrive first, rumors suggest a release in 2023. Some rumors have already circulated about it. As for the glasses, it’s quite light for now and we would therefore have to wait for an announcement from Apple in the second half of 2024.

Based on the leaks, the headset could be independent and not rely on the power of the iPhone or another product. Conversely, the glasses would depend on the iPhone. This is explained by the design: it is difficult to put as many components in connected glasses as in a helmet.

In any case, it is interesting to see that Jeff Pu is already talking about Apple’s second AR/VR headset for 2024. Should we expect a new headset every year, as there is an annual renewal of iPhones? This is what the analyst suggests. We should think about saving since the rumors make it clear that the price will be high, to the point where it would be 2,000 or 3,000 dollars.
