Apple confirmed last week that there would be plenty of people in Apple Park for the first day of WWDC 2022, which is being held June 6-10 this year. This will take the form of a special day dedicated to developers, with the possibility of watching the keynote as well as State of the Union videos, conversing with Apple engineers and discovering the brand new Developer Center on which no information is available. has currently filtered.
To determine which developers will be able to participate in this day, no favouritism: a lottery which is open to all developers registered with Apple has just been launched. To participate, you must go to this page and submit your entry once identified with your developer account. Apple will accept entries until Wednesday, May 11 at 5 p.m. Participants will receive a response, positive or negative, on May 13 around 2 a.m. The event is completely free.
If you are a developer and you find yourself in the Cupertino area (in California, in the suburbs of San Francisco) next June 6, here is a rather unique opportunity to go for a walk on the Apple campus and attend a keynote : Apple’s conferences are often reserved for an audience of handpicked guests. However, we do not yet know how Apple will hold its inaugural conference: it is not guaranteed that the presentation will take place live in the Steve Jobs Theater. Apple specifies that a negative Covid-19 test of less than three days will be required, but that wearing a mask will then be optional.
