Remember a few years ago when Apple Park was still under construction, several people had started flying over the site with drones, just to publish some videos of the progress of the work. During the pandemic, this exercise – little appreciated by Apple, it must be said – had reappeared.
This week marks the start of physical recovery for many Apple Park workers.which made a certain David Sexton want to fly over the ring again. Among the many photos offered, we can see employees at their posts, or queuing for a coffee. On a night shot, we can even see some of them playing basketball.
But this gradual recovery has not taken place under the best auspices. Last week, some staff members – protesters – have even formed a new group called Apple Together
intending to defend the well-being and rights of employees. They also sent a short missive to Tim Cook, a real list of grievances explaining that remote work should always be an option for those who want it.
